About Our Staff

Melted Butter Magazine was founded by three women who met while attending the University of Iowa. Their collective love for the more tender moments in life, whether it be soft, heartfelt memories associated with childhood, or the raw, genuine transformation that comes with growing older.

Melted Butter's purpose is to provide a space where authors and artists can explore the things that make them melt, in whatever interpretation their audience makes of it.

Callan Latham

Her poetry has been published in places such as Electric Moon Magazine, elementia, and Santa Clara Review, and she is the author of the chapbook, Blue Salt (Iowa Chapbook Prize, 2020).
